Biography

Virginia Boix is an Industry and Innovation Scientist at the Industrial Liaison Office of ALBA synchrotron. She has a background in materials science, with a PhD in Physics by Lund University (Sweden), and more than 5 years of experience on materials characterization using synchrotron based techniques. She joined the Industrial Liaison Office of ALBA in 2023 where she promotes the access of industrial users to the synchrotron and manages the industrial access routes of the ReMade@ARI project, which provides financing options to access advanced research infrastructures in Europe tailored for industry.
