Increasing concerns on sustainability of chemical products are shaping many activities including paints & coatings industry.
New needs are emerging especially in the area of waterborne architectural paints where formulators are moving toward eco-friendly paints. CLiQ SWISS TECH, as provider of additive solutions, is fully involved in this process.
Eco-friendly needs are taken into account in the design of HEUR thickeners at CLiQ where we can offer to customers:
– New structures with improved efficiency like our high shear HEUR CLiQFLOW 690 allows to use less additive dosage for same performance.
– Increased active content in CLiQ low shear HEUR allows to minimize the water in the product and reduce impact of CO2 emissions related to transport
– Feasibility studies on possible use of sustainable raw materials either in MASS BALANCE and FULLY SEGREGATED approaches in the synthesis of HEUR thickeners
