Low carbon alternatives to standard polymer dispersions for Paints & Coatings applications

Synopsis

Thanks to its unique backward integrated business model, Celanese has the possibility to explore different options on the road to sustainability. From product enablers to bio-based products, or carbon footprint optimization, Celanese is offering several concepts towards environmentally friendly dispersions for paints & coatings applications. Each concept has its strengths and limitations, and we will present the stakes behind each. Focus will be made on CO2 capture concept, one of our sustainability pillars, this might be one of the most promising solutions to reach the zero-carbon target of the EU in 2050 and thus, commit with the European Green Deal.
