Nouryon Bermocoll® Cellulose ethers, new Bermocoll FLOW

Synopsis

Nouryon provides solutions for the paint industry with a broad portfolio of additives like wetting agents, stabilizers, compatibilizers and rheology modifiers. Nouryon has a broad range of Bermocoll rheology modifiers for the paint industry. The Bermocoll grades are well known for water borne paints. During the presentation the Bermocoll Flow grade will be highlighted.
This new hydrophobically modified Bermocoll grade gives decorative paints excellent flow and application properties. Bermocoll Flow combines the flow and leveling properties of an associative synthetic thickener with the stability properties of a cellulosic thickener.
This reduces the cost and formulation complexity. Bermocoll Flow provides significant sustainable benefits compared to a synthetic HEUR thickener system. Replacing synthetic thickeners with Bermocoll Flow plays an important role to lower the carbon footprint.
