Nuevas tendencias en tratamientos conservantes para pinturas

Synopsis

Biocidal actives regulation in Europe is becoming more challenging each time, due to the reclasification of some substances, which reduces the use of some biocidal actives. Last reglamentary evaluations carried out by ECHA, have had a deep limitating impact in the preservatives used in paints and coatings. In this breif presentation, the proposals of LAMIRSA for the preservation of aqueous based paints and coatings will be presented. These preservation systems can be used to protect the product during storage (“in can” preservation) or to protect the film formed by the product during the final application (“dry film” protection).
