Biography

Roger Reinartz received several degrees in Chemistry & Chemical Engineering and graduated in 1996 from the Technical University of Eindhoven / Netherlands.
He worked several years for Hercules-Aqualon as a Research Chemist involved with the development of new rheology modifiers for waterborne coatings.
In 2001 he joined the Specialty Additives business of Air Products Netherlands B.V.. He has been a Lead Research Chemist and the Technical Manager-EMEA for over 10 years, supporting the broad use and development of additives (wetting agents, defoamers and dispersants) for waterborne coatings, inks, adhesives, industrial specialties and construction applications.
Following the acquisition by Evonik beginning 2017, he transferred to the headquarter in Essen – Germany as the Group Manager Product Development – Phobe, Flow and Glide Additives within the innovation management department of the new coating additives business line. End of last year he took the responsibility as Head of Applied Research & Technology Industrial Coatings EMEA – Paper, Plastic & Leather Coatings.
