Biography

Pilar Casas studied Chemical Engineering and Business & Organizational Engineering at UPC. In 2010, she got a PhD in Polymeric Materials at UPC too and in 2013 got a Management Development Program at UOC. Since 2007, she is professor at the Coatings Technology Postgraduate Program at IQS and since last year, she is associated professor at the Material Science and Technology Department at UPC. Since 2000, she worked at the plastic and coating market as laboratory technician. In 2005, she joined BYK-Chemie GmbH as Technical Adviser for coatings additives and since 2013 she is Area Manager Paint Additives in the Iberian market.
