Biography

Javier Raya has a degree in Organic Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​where he also completed his doctoral thesis in the field of organic synthesis of products of natural origin. He accumulates more than 20 years of experience in the coatings sector, in functions such as research, development and production. Its main lines of work include dispersants and rheology modifiers, as well as different surfactants and new ecological solvents. In 2010 he joined a technical marketing position for Iberia in the new BASF formulation additives business unit. In the last 13 years, its activity has focused on promoting and advising BASF’s portfolio of formulation additives for different sectors, including paints and coatings, printing inks, adhesives, construction and composites.
